Protecting Public Health and Animal Safety

Thank you for choosing North Iredell Animal Hospital. We understand that a first visit often comes with questions, and our goal is to make your appointment as smooth, comfortable, and informative as possible for both you and your pet. We look forward to welcoming you and beginning a long-term partnership centered on your pet’s health and wellbeing.

Before Your Visit

Prior to your appointment, you will receive a text message from our team that includes a pre-visit questionnaire. We ask that you complete this form before your scheduled visit, as it allows us to review your pet’s medical history, current concerns, and specific needs in advance. Preparing ahead helps your appointment flow efficiently and ensures our time together is focused and productive.

If you have any difficulty accessing the questionnaire or do not receive it, please contact our office. Our team is happy to assist you.

What to Bring to Your Appointment

Bringing a few key items with you helps us provide thorough, efficient care and make the most of your visit:

  • Medical records or vaccination history, if available.
If your pet has been seen at another veterinary hospital, we are happy to request records on your behalf. Please provide the name and phone number of any previous clinics so we can assist with obtaining this information.
  • A fresh stool sample, ideally collected within 12 hours of your appointment
  • A fresh urine sample, if you are able to collect one the day of your visit
  • Current medications or supplements your pet is taking
  • A list of questions or concerns you would like to discuss
  • A leash or secure carrier to ensure safe handling and transport

If you are unable to collect a stool or urine sample, please do not worry. Our team will review available options with you during your appointment.
