At North Iredell Animal Hospital, we believe the best veterinary care is often built through collaboration. When referral or collaborative care is recommended, we work closely with trusted community partners to ensure your pet receives the most appropriate level of care. Throughout the process, we prioritize clear communication, continuity, and ongoing support for both you and your pet.
How Referrals Work
Referrals are recommended thoughtfully and always with your pet’s best interest at heart. If specialty or additional care is advised, our team will:
- Clearly explain why referral care is being recommended
- Provide complete medical records and diagnostic information to the referral partner
- Communicate directly with specialists when appropriate
- Coordinate follow-up care once your pet returns to our hospital
A referral does not mean you are navigating the process alone. We remain an active part of your pet’s care team and are here to support you every step of the way.
