First Appointment Checklist
In order to provide the best care possible, we ask that you consider the following before your appointment and be prepared to discuss the appropriate subjects. Note, if someone other than the owner is bringing in the animal, you should let us know so we can get you the proper Drop Off form:
Important
Before your first visit, please gather any previous medical or adoption records you may have for your pet. North Iredell Animal Hospital’s veterinarians need this information to get an accurate record of your pet’s medical history and to create the best treatment plan for your pet.
Obtaining Records from Other Clinics:
You may also have your records faxed to us at (704) 876-2034 or e-mail them to nianimalhospital@yahoo.com. We will also be happy to contact your previous clinic for you to have the appropriate records transferred if they are able to accommodate such requests.
When you visit the hospital, please bring your pet in a carrier or on a leash. This will prevent any incidents with other animals that may also be in the lobby. You will be greeted by one of our Client Services Representatives. They will make sure your visit starts out as a pleasant one.
A member of our Team will escort you and your pet to an exam room so that the Assistants or Technicians can come introduce themselves and meet you and your pet. They will get a weight, temperature, and any concerns you may have about your pet. Then the veterinarian will come in to perform a physical examination of your pet, checking eyes, ears, mouth and listening to the heart rate. They will also ask you questions regarding your pet’s habits and activities.
We are excited about meeting you and your pet. We will always strive to provide the level of care that you both deserve.
Should you have any questions about your upcoming visit or procedure, please do not hesitate to call us at (704)-876-2031. Thank you.
